Bearing
Tools: Tri-Roller®, Portable Tr-Roller®, Cutting Tools, Testing Tools.
This installation requires that the outer portion of the "V" groove machined on the side of the bearing be swaged over the chamfers on the housing bore. The Tri-roller swages one side at a time using a drill press or vertical milling machine. The Anvil tool swages both sides simultaneously using a hydraulic press.

The housing can be roller swaged using a Tri-roller tool in a drill press or vertical milling machine. Some specifications require staking with a Ball, Ring or Segmented tool using a hydraulic press.

This installation requires the use of an intermediate sleeve (aluminum or stainless steel) that is placed between the bearing and housing. The sleeve is either roller swaged flat (Tri-roller) or staked over the bearing and housing (segment or ring) depending on the specification requirements
